Plan rules, subsidy amounts, and out-of-pocket limits change every plan year. We update these guides for each plan year. For the 2027 plan year, the federal maximum annual limitation on cost sharing is $12,000 for self-only coverage and $24,000 for coverage other than self-only, although many plans have lower limits.
